Maxïmo Park are an alterantive indierock band from Newcastle, England. The band comprising of Paul Smith (vocals), Duncan Lloyd (guitar), Archis Tiku (low register guitar), Tom English (drums) and Lukas Wooller (consoles), the band has attracted correlations with Northeastern partners The Futureheads, and also Franz Ferdinand, Pulp and Bloc Party for their addictive melodic style and immediate, tense shake pop solid. The band initially framed as a four-piece in 2000, showing adaptability in an assortment of melodic sorts, before Smith touched base as vocalist in 2003, flagging another part in the life of the band.
