Stryper - Throne of thorns song lyrics

Bruised and bleeding
Walking through trial and fire
We hear the whispers
Of deepest desires
Chains of memories
Cutting the mind
Like a knife
Yet through the darkness
There's a spark of life

Throne of Thorns
Don't bear the pain alone
Rise up from the fire
Faith will take you higher
(Take you higher)

Cries in silence
So many marks of despair
Each wound a whisper
That You will be there
Torn and abandoned
Yet we can still feel Your hand
Calling our names to the promised land

Throne of Thorns
Don't bear the pain alone
Rise up from the fire
Faith will take us higher
Grief the river
Mercy is the stone
Seasons of our sorrow
Will take us to tomorrow

Tomorrow...

Throne of Thorns
Don't bear the pain alone
Rise up from the fire
Faith will take us higher
Grief the river
Mercy is the stone
Seasons of our sorrow
Will take us to tomorrow

Throne of Thorns
Don't bear the pain alone
Rise up from the fire
Faith will take you higher
(Take you higher)
