Stryper - Ashes to roses song lyrics

I walked through Yesterday
My past lingered
Tried to stay
Then Your spirit came
A gentle refrain

A lost moment
Found again
Thoughts are broken
From beginning to end
Every empty space
Is starting to fill in

Oh, the night is longer
But the dawn is near
Every mystery
Has never been more clear
From shame to glory
Your power, it can't be denied

From Ashes to Roses
Beauty and grace from above
When my heart closes
I'm always redeemed by Your love

The smallest moments Show Your hand
The softest breeze
Whispers Your plan
I'm reminded
That it will be okay

Oh, the night screams louder than my broken heart
Every scar a story, every tear a part
You rise like rain
Breaking the chains once again

From Ashes To Roses
Beauty and grace from above
(I won't stop believing)
When my heart closes
I am redeemed by Your love

From Ashes to Roses
Beauty and grace from above
(I won't stop believing)
When my heart closes
I am redeemed by Your love
Oh by Your Love

From Ashes to Roses
Beauty and grace from above
When my heart closes
I'm always redeemed by Your love
