It was a good time to come back to Megadeth
(gibson) When Megadeth broke up in 2002, it marked the end of an era. Founded in 1983 by bassist Dave Ellefson and frontman Dave Mustaine, after the latter's expulsion from Metallica, the group pioneered the thrash metal genre. Mustaine would later restart Megadeth, but without his old partner, Ellefson until last year, when the 46-year-old bassist rejoined the band to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Rust in Peace album.
Subsequently, the group joined the wildly successful Big Four tour and things have never looked brighter for the heavy metal heroes.
