QOTSA ready to record
Queens Of The Stone Age are determined to record their seventh album later this year in an attempt to keep hold of the momentum built up since the release of ...Like Clockwork in 2013.
Frontman Josh Homme doesn't want to leave five years between records like he did after the Era Vulgaris. And the notorious control freak says he's looking forward to letting things go in the studio.
Homme tells Rolling Stone: We have more than enough songs. We're booked till September but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going.
"When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control. You're feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you're not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment."
