| Volbeat (unión de volume y beat) son una joven banda de Metal Alternativo de Dinamarca. Su sonido oscila entre el mad metal y groove metal, con tintes hardcore y punk e influencias del hard rock, el country e incluso del rockabilly, que ellos denominan como Elvis Metal. El cañonazo de voz de Michael Poulsen está a medio camino entre James hetfield y un Danzig, con influencia del rockabilly y de Elvis Pressley en su modo de cantar. Las cuerdas despachan riffes directos y la baterÃa de Jon Larsen contribuye a esa patada de contundencia que recibes en toda la cara cuando escuchas cualquier corte de cualquiera de sus dos discos.
