| Draconian es una banda de Gothic/Doom metal provenienente de Suecia. Su estilo une las guitarras pesadas y growls intensos junto a voces féminas románticas y arreglos melancólicos de piano para crear una simbiosis perfecta del Gothic Metal y el Doom. Draconian fue formada en Mayo de 1994, cuando Johan Ericson (baterista, vocal), Andy Hindenäs (guitarra) y Jesper Stolpe (bajo), se unen como Kerberos, una banda de melodic death metal con influencias de black metal. Siete meses más tarde, el vocalista y poeta Anders Jacobsson se une a la banda, que cambia su nombre al actual.
