| Battlelore banda de origen finlandés de Epic Folk Metal, formada en 1999. J. Vahvanen y M. El Kokkola fundaron Battlelore en 1999. Lanzaron su primer CD promo «Warrior’s Tale» ese mismo año. «Warrior’s Tale» fue elogiado y gustó mucho, pero sólo consiguió captar la atención de Napalm Records después la publicación de su segundo trabajo, «Dark Fantasy», en el año 2000. «Dark Fantasy» sirvió a modo de presentación de los entonces nuevos miembros de Battlelore: Kaisa Jouhki, la nuevo cantante femenina; Henri Vahvanen a la baterÃa y Maria como teclista.
